I’m learning a new camera. I’m not succeeding. But at least I get to pass off all the mistakes as candidates for this week’s Photo Challenge.
Close-up of a dandelion. I still don’t quite get the macro settings!
The overhead bracings of an abandoned iron bridge.
I like your images, the first is very atmospheric. One of the hardest things for me with macros is keeping still enough to prevent blurring especially as the depth of field is so shallow.
Thanks so much. The most difficult thing for me is finding the focus – with my old Nikon Coolpix, it was virtually foolproof, but with the new Nikon, it’s much harder!
Sometimes I’m convinced I have taken a shot with crystal clear focus only to be disappointed when I see it on my computer. I tend to take a series of shots now in the hope I do get some super sharp ones. Have fun with your new camera.
Very nice photos!
Thank you. 🙂
